HOMECOMING WEEK and MORE!
This week is HOMECOMING! Above you will see the themes for each day. This will be a contest amongst each class. We will also attempt to have an outdoor pep rally on Friday, weather pending. We will not hold the pep rally inside the gym. So hopefully the weather cooperates. Each class will be battling it out for rights to the SPIRIT stick.
Parents, if your son/daughter opted into the virtual school, pictures for the yearbook will be on October 7th in the small auxiliary gym. Please plan on making arrangements to have your student at the high school from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. This will be the last opportunity to get a picture done by the company that does our yearbook pictures. For all other parents, this is picture re-take day. Please note these pictures are used in many different publications throughout the year.
The seniors were given the opportunity to set the graduation date and were able to vote. 72% of the class voted on May 30th. Mark your calendars for the Class of 2021 graduation day, it will be here before you know it.
This week's contest is below. The winner will receive a free polo shirt. You will have Thursday by midnight to enter the contest.
We also have announced the homecoming court and underclassmen representatives, see the pictures below. Students will have an opportunity to vote for this year's homecoming king and queen which will be announced at halftime of the varsity football game on Friday.
It's hard to believe we are already on day 19 of 180. We will continue to hold everyone accountable while also stressing the importance of resiliency. Parents, please continue to monitor your student's progress in skyward and partner up with our teachers to ensure your student is staying on top of their work, not getting referrals, and graduating on time.
Have a great week!
